Delores Lorentzen 04/01/2018

Delores M. Lorentzen, age 86, of Roberts formerly of New Richmond passed away peacefully at Westfields Hospital Easter Sunday morning. Delores will be greatly missed by many. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Delores is now at peace with the love of her life, her husband Robert Lorentzen. They now can share their love again as Robert walks his love through heavens open doors. They will now be able to share a dance on the heaven floors, laugh, cry, and share their stories again of farming and family. Delores is survived by her sons, Paul Lorentzen of Roberts, WI and Rob (Laura) Lorentzen of Eau Claire, WI; granddaughters, Ashley, Jordan, and Andrea; step-grandchildren, Jesse (Ashley) Schuster, Kayla (fiancé Connor Mattoon) Schuster; step-great grandchildren, Brently, Emilia, Jaxson, Kayden. She will also be missed by her brother, Butch and sisters, Ruthann and Joan; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Lewis and Grace; and sister, Rose. A sincere thanks to Westfields Hospital, Hammond Nursing Home for the caring and kindness during the many stays. Also, thank you to Lakeview Hospice and Touching Hearts for all the care and comfort. A funeral service was held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at New Richmond United Methodist Church (209 E 2nd St.). Visitation was also Saturday from 10-11 am at the church. Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery. Memorials preferred to New Richmond United Methodist Church. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
