Delores Dahl 07/05/2015

Delores Dahl age 79 of Somerset passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul from surgery complications.  She was born the daughter of Charles and Irene (Schindler) Diller on July 28, 1935 in New Haven Township, WI.  After graduating from Boyceville High School, she married Wayne Dahl and to this union they were blessed with 3 children. Delores worked for EcoLab for 30 years.  She loved to dance, travel and make decorative plates. She played accordion, piano and cards with “the girls.”  Delores is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Irene Diller; son, Craig Dahl; and special friend Les Lindstrom.  She will be missed by her children, Louise Wood, Doug (Naomi) Dahl; grandchildren, Nate (Jess) Dahl, Tony Dahl, Brian Wood, Laura (Bill) Warren, Eric (Sam) Wood; great granddaughter, Linnea Dahl; siblings, Donna Huffman, Ellen (Pete) Adler, Harlan (Madeleine) Diller, Victor (Judy) Diller; many nieces and nephews.  A funeral service was held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset.  Visitation was also held Saturday from 9:00-11:00 am at the church.  Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
