Delores Ammann 11/29/2011

Delores F. Ammann (nee Donaghue), age 74 of New Richmond, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the St. Croix Health Center.  Delores was born in Cumberland, WI on December 4, 1936 to Fern (Bonneville) Donaghue-Luty and William Donaghue.  Delores went to grade school in St. Croix Falls and went through 11th grade in Milltown.  She lived many years in the twin cities before moving to Houlton, WI with her mom and Ken Luty.  She worked 21 years at Waldorf in St. Paul.  Delores enjoyed hunting, archery shooting and traveling with friends.  Later she moved to New Richmond, bought her own trailer and worked in factories like McMillan Electric, NRI, Lazar Magic and others.  On April 28, 1984, she married Tony Ammann, Sr. at First Lutheran Church in New Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ammann, Sr.; mother, Fern Donaghue-Luty; father, William Donaghue; brothers, Bill Donaghue and Lawrence Donaghue.  She is survived by her twin sister, Doris Nelson; brother, Joe (Arlyce “Honey”) Donaghue; sister, Lillian Barnier; step-children and grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1 pm at Bakken-Young’s Beebe Chapel in New Richmond.  Memorial visitation was also on Thursday from 11-1 at the funeral home.  Private interment will be at a later date in New Richmond Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
