David Ottoson

David Hill Ottoson age 77 of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota died peacefully on Saturday August 10, 2013 at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minnesota. Dave was born May 1, 1936, in Stillwater, MN. David attended Bayport and Stillwater schools, and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force for four years. David retired from Andersen Windows after forty years of service. He loved ice fishing and his dog Buddy. He was a wonderful cook, and had a great sense of humor that spread to everyone. David will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by parents, Carl Yngve & Ruth (Stolhberg) Ottoson; wife, Beverly Peters; stepmother, Christine Stolpe; sisters, Audrie Hagen, Barbara Lieffring. Survived by second wife, Jean Torburg; daughter, Jacqueline Jackson; grandchildren, Brody Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson and Kelsey Jackson; several nieces, nephews; good friends, Robert, Mary, Anna, Emily and Amy Crea; and his beloved canine friends, Kip and Marley. Funeral Service 11 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at SIMONET FUNERAL HOME in Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial with Military Honors at Fairview Cemetery.
