David Hollenbeck 11/26/2015

David Hollenbeck age 49 of Braham, MN died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, November 26, 2015.  He was born August 17, 1966 the son of William R. and Jeanette (VanDeVelde) Hollenbeck in Roseville, MN.  In 1984, David graduated from Frank B. Kellogg High School in Little Canada, MN.  He worked as a machinist and was a talented woodworker.  He enjoyed fishing and golfing.  Above all he loved spending time with his son and teaching him skills.  He is preceded in death by his father, William; grandparents, Richard and Sally VanDeVelde and William and Clara Hollenbeck.  David is survived by his son, Donavan Hollenbeck; mother and step-father, Jeanette and Russell Utecht; brothers, William Hollenbeck and Michael Hollenbeck; love of his life, Ann Ash; step-brothers and step-sisters, Christopher (Beth) Utecht, Dawn Swanson, Tammy Utecht, Carrie Mielke, Duke (fiance’ Lisa) Utecht; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  A funeral service was held Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11 am at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church  (365 West River Drive) in New Richmond.  Visitation was also Thursday from 10-11 am at the church.  Interment was in Boardman Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
