Dave was a friendly, warm, and helpful person to a young man who had just begun his teaching career at Meyer Middle School.

I was blessed enough to have had Mr. Frank as a teacher (taught me swimming as a kindergartner) and then I taught in the same building with him at Meyer Middle School. I am thankful for having known a man who was a great example with a positive attitude and sense of humor.

Dave was an awesome person to teach middle school physical education with. He was instrumental in helping to transition the junior high in River Falls into the middle school concept.
Dave was an extremely consistent and supportive force in our classroom. Dave was selfless in going above and beyond for the sixth grade outdoor ed/camping trip to Fall Creek WI.

Ruthann, Karl, and EJ, I was so sad to hear about your loss. I’m sure I wore out my welcome at times for all the hours I spent at your house growing up with EJ, but Dave would never show it. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. My condolences.
