Darwin Green 02/11/2016

Darwin Benjamin Green, age 59 of New Richmond, died on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.  Darwin was born the son of Gordon and Evelyn (Johnson) Green on April 5, 1956 in New Richmond, WI.  He attended New Richmond High School.  On January 19, 1996, Darwin married Jean Maitrejean at Immaculate Conception Church in New Richmond.  Darwin was a “jack of all trades”, working in the construction industry most of his life.  He was the ultimate outdoorsman.  He loved to deer hunt, fish, spend time with his family and cheer on the Packers and Badgers.  Darwin was a passionate man.  He was loving and generous and had a great sense of humor.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Evelyn Green; and siblings, Yvonne Langness and DuWayne Green.  Darwin is survived by his wife, Jean Green; daughter, Anna Delia Green; step-son, Rusty Howard; siblings, David (Karen) Green, Ron (Sandy) Green, Eugene Green, Rodney (Debbie) Green, Carol (Jerry) McDonel; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 7 pm at the Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel 112 W 3rd Street New Richmond, WI.  Memorial visitation was also be Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
