Darvin Lloyd Dodge age 77 of New Richmond, Wisconsin died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson, Wisconsin. He was born on January 23, 1937 at his family’s home in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Darvin farmed in Somerset, Wisconsin and retired in 2000 after working for Somerset Township. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and especially going to the cabin on Madeline Island. Darvin was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Anna (Lillie); brothers Raymond, Vernon, Floyd & Art; and sisters Fern Donavan, Alice (Howard) Knechtel. Survived by his loving wife Gloria (Moe) whom he married on October 8, 1955; children, Randy (Carol) Dodge, Ricky (Renay) Dodge, Delbert (Julie) Dodge, Christopher (Teresa) Dodge, Jacqueline (Mark) Kozulla; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday May 10, 2014 at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Interment St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Stanton Township, Wisconsin. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Justin Dodge, Nick Dodge, Ben Dodge, Dan Dodge, Kyle Dodge, Matthew Dodge and Jace Kozulla. Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters Kari Strauch, Tina Cross, Sami Paulson, Danielle Fahey, Kate Dodge, Molly Dodge-Brage, Madeline Kozulla and Kelley Kozulla; and his godchildren Grant Brinkman and David Hansen.
