Daniel Maloney 12/26/2019

MALONEY, Daniel Patrick, 79, of New Richmond, WI passed away December 26, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Francis and Mary Agnes Maloney; brother, Thomas R. Maloney. He is survived by brothers, William Maloney (Nancy) Sunrise, FL and Francis Maloney (Donna) Raleigh, NC, and sister, Mary E. Rettig of Ewa Beach, HI, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dan received a B.S. Degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin, River Falls with intention of helping those facing difficult obstacles in their life. He himself was struck with mental illness in 1968 at the age of 28, never to fully recover from such a devastation, inspiring him to write and publish a book on mental illness. Dan thoroughly enjoyed photography, making scenic sites around St. Croix County his passion. At Dan’s request, there will be no service. Private interment at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will follow at a later date. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
