Clyde “Junior” Schorn Jr. 02/20/2020

Clyde “Junior” Schorn, Jr. age 90 of River Falls passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the River Falls Hospital surrounded by his family. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. Junior worked several years at Armour’s Meat Packing plant in S. St. Paul and retired from Con Agra in Hastings. Spending time on his hobby farm, growing vegetables, especially sweet corn and heading up north to the cabin in Minong were things he enjoyed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary Ann; daughters, Virginia (Scott) Erickson and Cindy Schorn; granddaughters, Rebecca (Brad) Chileen, Amanda (Neil) Mason; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Junior is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Sr. and Ethel Schorn as well as 2 sisters and 2 brothers. A memorial gathering was held Monday, March 2, 2020 from 2:00-4:30 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St.) in River Falls. Private interment will be held at a later date. A special thank you to the Kinnic Health and Rehab staff for the excellent care they provided to Junior over the years. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
