Charlene Beckstrom 07/13/2016

Charlene “Char” Beckstrom age 67 caring mother, sister, and aunt, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
She was a 1967 graduate of North High School in North St. Paul.   A previous caterer with Suzanne’s Cuisine in White Bear Lake.  She was A recent retiree of US Bank Corp, and an enthusiastic booster for the annual United Way Campaign.  She also supported her son’s gardening efforts in downtown St. Paul.  Char was known for her culinary bravery, a love for reading, knitting, cross stitch and fishing.  She is preceded in death by parents Mary and Warren and sister, Pamela Weller; sister-in-law, Sandra Beckstrom.  Survived by son, Christopher, brothers Mark, Ron, Greg, Keith and brother in law, Gary Weller; uncle, Gary; aunt, Jeannette; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Char’s Life will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 1- 5 pm at the Family Farm.  Flowers from family and friends to come from your summer gardens.  Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
