Catherine Marie Meyer, age 79, of Somerset WI, passed away on March 20, 2026. Born on September 8, 1946. Cathy dedicated her life to her work as a laborer in the book bindery industry. She was known for her strong work ethic and unwavering love and commitment to her family. She is survived by her loving spouse, David Meyer, and her sons Bryan Feidt (Theresa), Jason Meyer (Jodie), and Mark Meyer (Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Hannah, Nicholas, Jeremiah, Heidi, and William. And her beloved brother Nickolas Feidt (Linda).

She will be remembered not only for her devotion to her loved ones but also for her vibrant personality and zest for life. Cathy brought comfort to everyone she met and made all those around her feel like family. Her unmistakable laugh and smile brightened the room and, (as long as she had her hair done that Friday), you could find her enjoying bingo and card games surrounded by her friends and family. She had a fondness for classic television, particularly old game shows and soap operas, which not only kept her sharp but made her a valuable partner for any board game.

Cathy had a unique culinary preference, famously fond of cold hot dogs, which brought a smile to those around her. Cathy was no stranger to feeding others as her baked treats and desserts were the highlight of holidays. Her laughter and warmth will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we remember Cathy, we celebrate her life and the joy she brought to those around her.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father Nickolas Feidt, mother Rosella Feidt, and her brother Robert Feidt. In lieu of a funeral the Meyer Family will be hosting a Celebration of Catherine’s Life from 1-4 pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Ken’s Keyboard 301 State Highway 35 in East Farmington, WI.
