Carter Matthew Callow, age 7 of River Falls, Wisconsin, earned his wings and became our guardian angel on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Children’s Hospital – St. Paul, Minnesota.
He was born on May 14, 2018, in Minneapolis, MN, a son of Daniel and Lisa (Townsend) Callow. He attended Greenwood Elementary School in River Falls, where he had lots of friends and brought joy to many. He enjoyed reading and looking at books, loud and noisy toys and loved his toy zebra. He was a very happy, joyful, sparkling youngster who was loved by all and never failed to make you smile – even through all the hard times he had to endure, most of his life he never stopped smiling through it all.
He is preceded in death by, his paternal great-grandfathers and great-grandmother, maternal great-grandparents. He is survived by, his parents, Daniel and Lisa; paternal grandparents, Wes and Beth Callow; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Mary Townsend; aunt and uncles, Kevin (Kirsten) Townsend, Rebekah Peterson, Andy (Tillie) Callow, Josh (Livia) Callow; great-grandmother, Wanda Olson as well as many cousins and extended relatives.
Funeral service was held, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services, 805 E. Division St., River Falls, WI. Visitation was held for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in River Falls. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
