Carol Grams, (nee Lauridsen), aged 90, went to her heavenly home on April 29, 2026 surrounded by her children.
Carol was born in Hart, MI on October 21, 1935. She married Robert Grams on July 30, 1955. Soon after getting married, Bob and Carol moved to Two Rivers, WI and started a family not long after that.
Carol worked at Eggers, Paragon, and various grocery stores; not retiring until the age of 76. Carol especially loved working at the grocery stores and interacting with all the people. Anyone who knew Carol knew she loved crafting. She dabbled in a little bit of everything, and her kids and husband sat on countless sewing needles inadvertently left in the couch cushions over the years.
Of all of Carol’s worldly treasures, her family was her most treasured. Carol leaves behind her children Gene (Amy) Grams, Lafayette CO; Dan Grams, New Richmond WI; Mary Grams, New Richmond WI; and Lisa (Tom) Mann, Roberts WI. Carol also leaves behind grandchildren whom she deeply loved; Amanda (Conor) McCluskey, Superior CO; Jaclyn (Steve) Schultz, Superior CO; Anthony Grams, Erie CO; Jake (Emily) Casebeer, Chanhassen MN; and Drew Casebeer, Fitchburg WI. The light of her life were her great grandchildren, Madison and Emma, Mia and Caden, and Jennifer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents Ingvard and Esther, and brothers LeRoy and Ron.
Our mom gave us unconditional love like no other. To quote her 5 year old great granddaughter Maddie, “Dear God, thank you for great grandma. I hope she has so much fun up in heaven with you. I can’t wait to see her up there again someday.” We all can’t wait to see you again someday Mom. Have those Uno cards ready.
Per request of Carol, her remains will be returned to Two Rivers by her family and buried next to her husband later this summer at a private service.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Westfields Hospital, Legacy Pines Assisted Living, Lakeview Homecare & Hospice, and Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services for their care to our mom.
