Brian Suilmann 02/20/2019

Brian P. Suilmann, age 57 of Hampton, MN, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Brian was born the son of Innocence and Rosina (Stifter) Suilmann on October 23, 1961 in Red Wing, MN. He grew up in Ellsworth, graduating from Ellsworth High School with the class of 1980. Brian attended Red Wing Vocational School and received a degree in Industrial Maintenance. He worked for Genova in Faribault, MN, Koch Refinery in Rosemount, MN, and most recently for Malt-O-Meal in Northfield, MN as a boiler operator. Brian enjoyed camping, thrift and antique shops, his 1969 Corvette, and riding motorcycle. He collected antiques and had quite the record collection. He especially liked spending time with Theresa’s grandchildren. Brian was generous and kind, and was always willing to help. He is preceded in death by his parents, Innocence and Rosina Suilmann; companion, Theresa Snoeyenbos; grandson, Nathan Damiani; and numerous aunts and uncles. Brian is survived by his brothers, Bruce (Kim) Suilmann of Powder Springs, GA, John (Deanna) Suilmann of Bloomer, WI; nieces, Caitlin Suilmann of Eau Claire, WI, Lauren (Clay) Tolar of Ball Ground, GA; nephew, Christopher Suilmann of Bloomer, WI; Theresa’s daughters, Toni (Chris) Torsell, Stacie (Joel) Enders, Jackie (Scott Damiani) Trepanier; and grandchildren, Logan, Nolyn, and Johnathan Torsell, and Robyn Damiani; and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church (264 S Grant Street Ellsworth, WI) with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment was in St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery in River Falls, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: The Burn Center C/O Regions Hospital Foundation 640 Jackson St. MS 11202C St. Paul, MN 55101-2595. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

    i try to makd to it. i leaved i n st.Francis for years i know the church wil. i promise i try to make it.

    I am so sorry to learn of Brian’s passing but I know he was in a lot of pain and is in a much better place now. Terry and Brian are now together pain and PD free! They were such a great couple and I know they will be missed by their friends and family. God bless you all!

    For those attending a lunch will be served across the street from the church immediately following the funeral mass.

    Time goes by and we lose track of people. I remember both Brian and Terry from high school, both great people. Sorry to hear of their passings.
