Brandy Stewart 08/31/2020

Brandy Ann Stewart, age 41, of Menomonie formerly of Star Prairie passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.  She was born on May 13, 1979 in Little Rock, AR and then moved to the Midwest, attended school in New Richmond, graduating from New Richmond High School.  Brandy was a talented flute player, voted Miss Congeniality of Star Prairie and a youth leader at Bethany Lutheran Church, under the guidance of Pastor Carla Grabanski.  Brandy was a natural caretaker; and worked at Kinnic Long Term Care Center whose residents adored her.  She will be remembered as a kind-hearted, loving, care- free and giving person with a great sense of humor.  Brandy loved her mom’s cooking and the two spent time binge watching television and during the holidays “A Christmas Story” was always a family tradition.  She deeply loved her daughters, Sierra and Cecily, who followed musically in her footsteps by playing the flute and Sierra being a talented vocalist.  Brandy and her baby brother, Tristan loved to quote movies, joke and along with Sierra “pick” on Mom/Nana, all in good fun.  She cherished her friends even though some were far away.  Much of her enjoyment was found in time spent with her fiancé’, John; sharing childhood memories with her cousin Amanda; taking walks with her beloved dog, Lucky.  Brandy is survived by her fiancé John Fowler; mother and best friend Millie (Gary) Augustine; daughters Sierra Davidson and Cecily Fowler; brother Tristan (Caitlin) Kjeseth; cousin Amanda Badgett; former step-dad Dennis Kjeseth; John’s mother Bonnie Fowler; grandma Rita Kjeseth; best friend Virginia Kiesow; many special friends from the years growing up in Star Prairie.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents Leon and Lucy Shelton; Chuck and Lorraine Augustine; and Phil Kjeseth; uncles Bobby Shelton and Jim (Rhonda) Stewart; John’s father John Fowler, Sr.; special friends Greg Flatland and Andre Lyons.   A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave.) in New Richmond.  Visitation was also Saturday from 1-2 pm.  A celebration of Brandy’s life will continue at Champs Grand Room in New Richmond beginning at 4:00 pm. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

    baby girl I sit here to write to you as I feel you and hold on. I miss you with every beat of my heart . Just waiting to hear you call out momma and me call out I’m here. I hope you’ll watch over till I get to haven and can feel your spirit. Don’t forget to show me a sign your watching as I will be waiting. I love you on earth till all my breath is gone then when my spirit gets to haven our spirits will and nothing will have changed our love for each other. Fly high baby girl spread those Angel wings no more pain be free.

    Brandy’s momma you took my breath away as I’m still speechless I will try to get out a few more words out. That was absolutely amazing to read ! Your daughter is absolutely amazing and I spend each day feeling everyone’s pain along with my own. God bless my thoughts and prayers are with you and those beautiful daughters of hers help to stay strong!I made a donation toward funaral arrangements and please if any help is needed I would be more than happy .

    For Brandy’s momma….you just took my breath away! That was absolutely amazing to read, leavjng lost for words. Your daughter is absolutely amazing as well ! She always talked of you so i know without ever meeting that you gave that to her! I feel your pain thinking of you and her loved ones constant. She will be dearly missed by all! God bless, my thoughts and prayers are with you all and in help keeping those beautiful daughters of her and John’s in the loss of their momma, and so very young !     Thinking of you like many days and usually with a smile but today some tears. Missing you and always thinking of your girls, Mom, and Johnny and always wish them strength anytime they might feel a little fall. I still play Sierra singing hallelujah and love it more everytime .     I miss you so mu h and love you beyond words. My heart is still shattered and doesn’t seem to heal at all. I k ow you are living your best life pain fee and loving pee paw and mamaw and all those that you missed when you were here. Your brother is ok but misses you. I go through everyday feeling empty wishing you were here. I love you sweet girl
