Bonnie J. Jones, age 70, of New Richmond, WI passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Westfields Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1953 in St. Paul, MN. Bonnie graduated from high school and went to achieve a Nursing Assistant certificate and worked many years at Bethel Care Center. She loved to cook big meals and loved animals, especially cats. Bonnie enjoyed many kinds of crafts and volunteering at the St. Croix Health Center. She is remembered as a “free spirit” by her family. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Steven Jones; daughter, Chalane (Scott) Kirchoff; grandchildren, Darian and Zoe; brother-in-law, Carlos Delaursa; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Arlene and Ellsworth Sanderson; sister, Debbie Delaursa; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rollin and Annette Jones. A private family memorial is being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bonnie’s family. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Just found out this beautiful woman passed away, and I’m heartbroken. I always loved seeing Bonnie whenever I’d go over to their house to hang out with Matt. Somehow in the few times I went back to NR and to a public place, I’d run into her and Steve randomly and she never hesitated to ask me how I was and what I’ve been up to. She’d always have a smile to send my way while we would chat and catch up. Fly high, Bonnie girl. Fly high.
