Bonnie Louise Buell Wang

October 24, 1956 – June 8, 2024

Thank you, my dear family and friends for being so loving and kind to me. I love you all and look forward to seeing you again. Until then, “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid because the Lord God is with you, wherever you go” -Joshua 1:9, The Holy Bible

Thank you for having my back and for letting me have your back. I treasure our times together sharing, caring and adventuring out in God’s beautiful creation. Pure Joy!

Tess Gabrielle, you are an amazing daughter and mother! I love you, forever. Thank you for the honor of being Otto’s grandma. I am so very proud of you all!

When Jesus reached out His hand, I asked again to be forgiven then, I held on believing and trusting I am forgiven by God, as you are. “Fear not”-Revelation1:17   I love you and Happy TRAILS Until We Meet Again,   Bonnie

Following Bonnie’s wishes an intimate private family service will be held.  To honor Bonnie’s memory, memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

What good memories! Bonnie Buell was a good friend during our high school years. She took this country girl under her wing and gave me confidence that I could fit in with the town kids. I will always remember her kindness and infectious laugh. Remembering a good person and a life lived to the fullest!

Bonnie was one of the kindest friendliest person I knew. She always was smiling, laughing and enjoying people and her life. She will be truly missed.💔
    Rest in peace Bonnie!

To the entire Buell family and friends: In the last few
days, so many memories from my childhood have come flooding in!
I have a picture of Bonnie at my 5 yr old birthday party! Over 60 yrs ago! So many family gatherings with the Buell’s and awesome memories of many family and group ski trips! Bonnie and I were definitely ski partners… always searching for unchartered trails through the woods on the way to the bottom of the hill!
My heart is broken for the loss of my childhood friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Safe journey and rest easy Bonnie! 🙏🌹 Pick out the best ski trail until we meet again! ❤️

    Tess and Family,
I have no words to say to bring Bonnie back, but I hope you can find comfort and peace knowing others feel your pain. Bonnie was always a caring, smily, and beautiful person inside & out. I remember when she became Homecoming Queen with my brother Ron Homecoming King. She left us all way too soon! Fly high Bonnie! You will be missed by all who knew you! 💔🙏

Tess and Family, We are so sorry to hear about Bonnie. She and I worked in ministry together at Shepherd of the Valley for several years. Her life’s mission was to introduce everyone she met to Jesus. Bonnie was a quiet and kind person but she was fearless in her witness. For several years Bonnie was also one of the leaders of a ministry at the Shell TruckStop in Hudson where she reached out to the down and out men and women that would be there to hear Jesus’ promise of redemption. Thank you Bonnie for your faithful witness! Godspeed my friend!

Bonnie was the kindest person I have ever known. Simply the best person. I will miss our outings, texts and leaning on each other in these last few years. She could spontaneously pray the most beautiful heartfelt prayers. Jesus welcomed her with open arms I’m sure.

I’ve only gotten to know Bonnie for the last year, but she had a huge impact on me. Such a kind, gentle soul. She will be greatly missed. I know she is in the arms of our loving Savior.

I knew Bonnie since college and watched her travel a very hard but glorious road. She was a woman of amazing strength and fortitude, full of love and a joy that endured the most difficult times. Tess, your mother was very special, Larry, you were blessed. My deepest condolences.
Bonnie it is too early to lose you my friend…but I trust that we will see one another again – I look forward to that time.

It was at Ripon College where Bonnie and I met. It started with those big blue eyes followed by a life-long friendship..
