Betty Singerhouse 03/05/2018

Betty Singerhouse, age 85, of New Richmond passed away peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the St. Croix Health Center. She was born the daughter to Sam and Tilda (Walby) Thompson on November 14, 1932 in Town of Alden, WI. On May 3, 1952, Betty married Paul Singerhouse at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She worked at Andersen Windows from 1972 until her retirement in 1994. During retirement, Paul and Betty enjoyed traveling. She was an avid sports fan always cheering for the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Family was very important to her and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Tilda; step-father, Dale Foss; sisters, Fern Wells, Mae Larson and June Field; brothers, Dale, Gene, Lyle, Norris, Daryl, Dean and Wayne Thompson; grandson, Sam Buell. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Paul; her children, Cheryl (Marv) Boucher, Terry (Diane) Singerhouse, Tracy (Jim) Buell; her cherished grandchildren, Holly (Jim) Wolf, Kristy (Sean) Cudd, Paul (Laura Ridgway) Singerhouse, Jay (Noelle) Singerhouse, Zack (Tiffany) Buell; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Whitney Wolf; Aaden, Ian and Cohen Cudd; Grahm and Seth Singerhouse, Keira and Hannah Buell; sister, Suzanne (Gary) Peterson; sister-in-law, Idell Thompson as well as many, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A funeral service was held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 3:00 pm at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (365 West River Drive) in New Richmond. Visitation was also held Friday from 1-3 at the church. Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lakeview Hospice or St. Croix Health Center.
