Beth C. Ulrich, 65, of Hudson passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2014 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in New Richmond, WI on April 9, 1949 to the late Hansel and Vi Baillargeon. She married the love of her life on June 22, 1968. Her childhood dream was to become a Wife and Mother and have a house in the country with lots of rooms to fill with children. She accomplished that dream. She was blessed with an amazing husband, 5 beautiful children and 14 adoring grandchildren. Beth was all about family and friends. She loved life and lived each day to the fullest. She enjoyed playing tennis, watching all of her grandchildren’s activities, traveling in her bus and a good happy hour on the patio. She was a woman that had a smile that would light up a room. To know Beth was to love her. She taught life lessons every day and will continue to everyday. She will be missed by many. Our hearts are heavy but are smiling as she is at peace.

Beth is survived by husband, Dick Ulrich; children, Corey (Kathy) Ulrich, Amy (Steve) Olson, Ali Anderson, Angie (Rob) Bunch and Abbie (Erin) McKenna; grandchildren, Clay Olson, Lane Olson, Chey Olson, Wyatt Olson, Addy Olson, Grace Ulrich, Izzy Ulrich, Cale Anderson, Cade Anderson, Francy Bunch, Johnny Bunch, Eliza McKenna, Leo McKenna and Loretta McKenna.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Hansel and Vi Baillargeon; and sister, Joy Giese.

A celebration of Beth’s life was held at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in River Falls, WI on Sunday, July 27th. Visitation was from 2 pm to 4 pm. Funeral and gathering to follow.  Private interment was in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Somerset.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls and Hudson.
