Barbara Anderson 05/24/2011

Barbara C. Anderson, age 58 of River Falls, WI and formerly of Lauderdale, MN, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota from complications of a stroke.  Barb was born the daughter of Josephine Durgin on August 8, 1952 in Lauderdale, MN.  She was a graduate of Ramsey High School with the class of 1970.  Barb was a mother and homemaker for many years.  In 1993, she moved to River Falls, WI.  She worked for Auto Stop in Hudson for a few years and then the Kwik Trip in Hudson for the past 8 years.  On October 26, 2001, Barb married Kevin Anderson.  She loved her pets.  She was loved very much by her whole family.  She also liked to travel, ride horseback, and play bingo.  She enjoyed the relationships she developed with her customers.  Barb was an honest, strong willed women who always knew the right thing to say when someone she loved needed it.  She is preceded in death by her step-father, Russell Schleuder.  She is survived by her husband, Kevin Anderson; children, Paul (Charlene) Helton, Tim Helton; step children, Kurtis (Maggie) Anderson, Kyle (Jessica) Anderson, Krystal (Adam) Wilson; grandchildren, Chandra, Jeramy, Amara, Evan, Kylee, Robert, Hannah; mother, Josephine Schleuder; and many more relatives and friends.  A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church in River Falls.  Memorial Visitation was also Tuesday from 6-7 pm at the church.  Arrangements were with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
