Linda Louise Huppert

After a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Linda found peace on July 30, 2026. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is free from the burdens of illness and will be remembered for her loving heart, bright smile, and the joy she brought to everyone she met.

Linda was born on December 17, 1951, in River Falls, Wisconsin, to Walter and Mildred (Orcutt) Danielson. She grew up on Maple Street in River Falls, where she made many lifelong friendships and created memories that she carried with her throughout her life. Linda graduated from River Falls High School in 1970.

On April 24, 1971, Linda married the love of her life, Timothy (Tim) Huppert, at St. Bridget’s Church in River Falls.   Their union in marriage was blessed with two children, Eric and Cari, and over 47 years of love and devotion before Tim’s passing. Their life together was built on love, faith, family, hard work, and countless memories.

Linda was a proud part of the two-generation Huppert family farm. She had a true love for farm life, especially her cows and gardens, and cherished the friendships formed with supportive neighbors who became much more than neighbors—they became family. When the farm was sold and Linda and Tim moved to Roberts, Wisconsin, those connections and memories remained close to her heart.

Linda’s work was an important part of her life. She spent many years at County Line Agency, where she shared a special bond with her brother Mike. She also enjoyed her time working at Clifton Hollow Supper Club alongside her parents, Dan and Millie. The friendships she made with coworkers became lasting relationships.

Linda found happiness in the simple joys of life. She loved gardening and enjoyed having her grandson Corey under her wing, teaching him the joy of digging in the dirt and watching things grow. She shared her love of sewing by teaching her granddaughter Jenna, creating special memories that will last forever. She enjoyed golfing with her Tuesday golf ladies, Challenger racing, running races with her daughter Cari, attending tractor pulls & getting ice cream with her son Eric, and dancing while listening to Tim and his band, The Distant Sonns.

Linda loved traveling and making memories with family. She enjoyed road trips to Arizona and Florida and treasured the unforgettable experience of traveling to New York to watch the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.

Above all else, Linda loved her family. Her children, grandchildren, extended family, and farm neighbors who became family brought her endless joy. Her home was always welcoming, and she had a special gift for making people feel loved. Whether it was offering a warm hug when someone needed one, sharing her famous homemade desserts, or simply opening her door, Linda’s generosity and kindness touched countless lives.

Linda will be remembered for her spunky personality, mischievous sense of humor, contagious smile, and strong faith in God. She had a way of bringing laughter, comfort, and love wherever she went. Her spirit and the memories she created will continue to live on through everyone who knew and loved her.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tim Huppert; her parents, Mildred and Dan Turner and Walter Danielson; her parents-in-law, Margaret and Walter Huppert; and brothers-in-law Michael and Pat Huppert.

She is survived by her children, Eric (Michele) and Cari (Rick Nellessen) Huppert; grandchildren Corey Huppert (Taylor Rahlf), Jenna (Braedon Harer) Huppert, and Dominic Nellessen; siblings Mike (Sue) Danielson, Deed (Rita) Danielson, Sue Jacoby, Bruce (Kendra) Danielson, Deona Turner, and Kim Turner; Stepmother Char Danielson; sisters-in-law Penny Danielson, Debbie Huppert, and Louise Huppert; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Pine Ridge Gardens for the compassionate care, love, and support they provided to Linda and her family.

Though Alzheimer’s took away pieces of Linda’s memory, it could never take away the love she gave, the lives she touched, or the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 12 noon at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 805 E Division Street River Falls, WI.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm at the funeral home.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
