Jeannie Marie (Cody) George, age 60 of Little Canada, MN, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at her home.  We will remember Jeannie for her many gifts, talents, and stories. Her light shone wherever she went in life. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a sparkling personality, an ability to connect with people, and a big heart. Her faith, courage, and perseverance helped her to maintain her sobriety in her last years. We will always be grateful for the happy times we spent with Jeannie. She will be deeply missed.  Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Arliss Cody.  She is survived by her son, Andrew McCormick; brother, David (Clara) Cody; sister, Mary (Brian) Anderson; nephews, Christian Cody, Erik Anderson, Brett (fiancé Sarah Sawasky)  Anderson; cousin, Tom (Katie) Cody; many more relatives and numerous friends.  A Celebration of Jeannie’s Life will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4- 7 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI.  Private interment will be in St. Bridget Cemetery in the town of Stanton.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
