Aaron Lee Boor, age 61, of New Richmond, WI, passed away on December 28, 2025, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Born on October 17, 1964, to Earl and Gertrude Boor, Aaron’s life was marked by adventure, humor, and a deep affection for family and animals.
After completing his education, Aaron proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where he was stationed as base police and honed his skills as an electrician. His military experiences instilled in him a sense of discipline and dedication that he carried into his civilian life. Upon returning home, Aaron worked in manufacturing, where his talent for servicing machines flourished, largely thanks to the opportunity provided by his older brother, Alan, helping him get a job with El-Hy-Mec.
Beyond his work, Aaron was known for his love of motorcycles and his frequent trips to casinos. An avid computer hardware enthusiast, he spent many hours exploring the latest technology, often leaving friends and family amazed with his expertise and gaming skills. His favorite pastime, however, was sharing laughs and creating joy; he was described as goofy and fun-loving, always ready with a joke or a smile to brighten someone’s day.
Aaron had a particular fondness for rescue animals, bringing home numerous cats and orphaned squirrels throughout his life, reflecting his compassionate spirit and love for those in need. He cherished his family, leaving behind his mother, Gertrude Boor; siblings, Joseph Boor, Diana (Chris) Armstrong, and Mark Boor; nephews, Drew Boor and Russell Boor; niece, Kayla Johnson; great-nephew, Hunter Guerrero Boor; along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Boor, and brother, Alan Boor.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 12:00 noon-3:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond. Military honors will be performed at 3:00 pm by the American Legion Post #80 of New Richmond.
