Marjorie Lorraine (Ramseier) Berg, age 89 of New Richmond, WI, died on Friday, September 18, 2026 at her home at the Deerfield Apartments.
Marjorie Lorraine Ramseier was born on February 15, 1937. She was raised and attended school in Cadott, Wisconsin. Marjorie was married to Gordon Berg in November of 1957. They lived in the Twin Cities area until 1963 when Marjorie and Gordon moved to New Richmond, Wisconsin. They were blessed with two daughters, one granddaughter, and one great grandson. Throughout the years, Marjorie and Gordon did a lot of traveling in the United States with family and friends. Marjorie enjoyed playing cards and games, reading, visiting, and laughing.
She was survived by her daughters Cheryl Loran (James) and Shelley Hall (Brian), her granddaughter Tiffany Johnston (Alex), her great grandson Dominic Johnston, her sister Joyce Marcott, her sister-in law Carol Woodford, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Godfred and Mildred Ramseier, her husband Gordon Berg, her brothers Jerry (infant), Ellsworth and Donny Ramseier, her sister Arlene Ulrich, her sister-in-law Shirley Ramseier, and her brothers-in-law Clarence Ulrich, Richard Marcott, and Clarence Berg.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 11 am at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church 365 W River Drive New Richmond, WI.  Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10-11 am at the church.  Interment will be in the Boardman Cemetery in Boardman, WI.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

    A wonderful sweet lady to know over the years. Always fun to have coffee with Marge and Gordy when they lived near me. Bonnie and I will miss her. She shure loved her Jelly Beans when I would bring her some. She enjoyed liiving at the Deerfield these last years of her life also.

    Oh my gosh this is a hard thing to see. Marge and Gordy lived in our neighborhood when I was growing up and when she moved to Deerfield she became a wonderful friend to my mom. She was so sweet now her and my mom can be together again. Prayers to her family
