Arthur Rendell 05/22/2019

Arthur “Rick” Rendell, age 71 of New Richmond, Wisconsin died on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his home. Arthur was born the son of Harvey and LouVada (nee Farnell) Rendell on May 28, 1947 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Arthur grew up in Albert Lea, Minnesota attending Albert Lea High School. He joined the Army at 17. Following the Army, he went back to school receiving his GED. Throughout his life, Arthur worked many technician jobs in electronics and small machines. He was a jack-of-all trades. Arthur married Jean McGee on April 29, 1982 in Stillwater, Minnesota. Arthur loved being on the water fishing and boating. He also enjoyed racing at Cedar Lake raceway. Arthur, as he would say, “the man, the asshole, the legend.” He was hardworking and loved his family and dogs.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Arlo Jaspersen. He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Scott (Donna), Stephanie (Duane) Huss, Jeanne (Mark) Foss, Liesette (Mike Schmidt) Rendell, Laura (Andrew) Ritt; grandchildren, Alex, Cadence, and Trevor Ritt; sister, June Jaspersen; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the Greaton Room at Champs Sports Bar in New Richmond. Private family interment will take place at a later date in New Richmond Cemetery. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

    Many fond memories of him as a neighbor, always willing to help out. He had a good heart & he’ll be missed.
