Arlene Plourde

Arlene Ann Plourde, at the age of 61, died peacefully on July 24, 2011 of cancer in Stillwater, MN. She was born to Edger and Genevieve Proulx on November 8th, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan. She married Larry Plourde on October 5th, 1968 in Los Angeles, California. She was preceded in death by Edger, Genevieve and Maxine. She is survived by her husband Larry of 43 years, two sons Scott and Todd, Brendan and family, Sisters Blanche and Evelyn, brothers Melvin and Allan. All of whom were with her at her passing and the days and weeks prior.
Arlene will be remembered for her love of family and friends, fishing and spending time at the cabin perfecting her flower garden. As one family friend put it “I thank God to have met your family when I did. [Arlene] was a true gift to me and so many others”
Funeral will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, Wisconsin (139 Church Hill Road) Wednesday July 27 at 11am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials to be dedicated to St. Anne’s School 140 Church Hill Road, Somerset, WI 54025.
