Anthony Britton Nelson, Jr. 03/01/2019

Anthony Britton Nelson, Jr. age 6 months passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis after complications of a congenital heart defect. He was born near St. Cloud, MN on August 5, 2018. He was affectionately called “Sonner” and “Junior”. Anthony is survived by his loving mother, Jacqueline VanWert; loving father, Anthony Britton Nelson, Sr.; as well as brother, Jaiden and sister, Nicole; grandmothers, Caroline Ruth Houle and Donna Krause; and other loving family members. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arthur William VanWert, Jr. and Mangly Nelson. A memorial gathering was held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 2-5 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave.) in New Richmond with a Remembrance Service beginning at 3:30 pm. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
