Anne Richter 07/29/2013

Adafene “Anne” Richter age 66 of New Richmond died Monday, July 29, 2013 at her home.  She was born the daughter of Alex and Esther (Geschke) Belau on September 17, 1946 in Watertown, WI.  Anne was known for her joyful heart and always had happiness and excitement for others.  She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and trips to the casino.  Anne especially loved spending many summers at the cabin with her beloved family.  She is remembered as a best friend of Dan for 50 years, a loving mother and grandmother and as aunt “Honey Bee” to her many nieces and nephews.  Anne is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marilyn Ziesmer and Carol Shearer.  She is survived by her husband, Daniel; children, Jennifer (Anthony) Struemke, Heidi (Joel) Hazzard, Daniel (Lisa) Richter, Kathryn (Lars) Larson; grandchildren, Hannah and Tucker Hazzard, Samantha and Parker Struemke, August and Sadie Richter, Lars and Lillian Larson; siblings, Rose Degenhardt, Walter (Barbara) Belau, Sylvia (Jerry) Belknapp; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  A funeral service was held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm at New Richmond United Methodist Church.  Visitation was Friday, August 2, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel and also Saturday from 12-1 pm at the church.  Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery.  Arrangements were with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
