Andrew Skaare 10/11/2023

Andrew C. Skaare, age 23, of New Richmond, WI and formerly of River Falls, WI died Wednesday, October 11, 2023 as a result of a tragic accident.  Andrew was born February 22, 2000 in Stillwater, MN the son of Kevin and Nadine (DeYoung) Skaare.  He graduated from River Falls High School and was currently employed at Derrick Construction Services as a job supervisor.  Spending time with family, his love of trucks, campers, boats, and ATV’s, along with traveling, were his most favorite things.  Andrew will always be remembered for his kindness, his loving and caring personality, and his contagious laugh.  He was blessed in his life to have an energetic, yet gentle canine companion, Milly.  Andrew is survived by his fiancee’, Brooke Anderson; parents, Kevin and Nadine Skaare; brother, Zachary (Laura) Skaare; grandma, Janet DeYoung; grandpa, William Skaare; godmother/aunt, Karen Pesik; future mother-in-law, Desiree Anderson; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Chuck DeYoung; grandma, Sally Skaare; and godfather/uncle, Steve Skaare.  A memorial visitation was held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St.) in River Falls.  A private family service followed.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
