Amanda (Rosenow) Champeau, age 101, of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away June 6, 2016 at The Deerfield Care Center in New Richmond. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester Champeau; daughter, Jean Champeau; and brothers, Emil and Harold Rosenow. Amanda is survived by her children, Mary Lou Kohls, Richard Champeau, Darwin Champeau, and Sheila Champeau. Also survived by her sister, Mildred Christopherson; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. The family would especially like to thank Deerfield and St. Croix Hospice for taking care of Amanda. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday June 10, 2016 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, WI. Visitation will be held for an hour prior to Mass at the church.
