“Mrs. Michels” (from Boy Scouting days) was an awesome lady. So smart, generous and talented – always the eternal glass is half full, so upbeat. And her handwriting was still meticulous on her Christmas card this year. I will admit to shedding a tear or two upon hearing of her passing. Our thoughts are with the boys – hope to hoist a beer or two lakeside up in Ely in honor of yer’ Mom. She would approve.
Hi Tom, so sorry to hear about your Mom. Please extend my sympathy and greetings to the rest of your family. Hard to lose a Mom. I always enjoyed your Mom…and your Dad. Janis Seim Currell
Tom and family, your mom and dad were really good friends with my mom and dad, Fran and Willys Thomson. I’m sure they are all up there now, happily reunited, drinking coffee and playing many hot games of Hand and Foot! Sending my sympathy. Lynne Thomson Helbach
