Alexa Rose Meinke, born on January 18, 1988, in Stillwater, MN, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Prescott, WI, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a passionate dance instructor, where her creativity and spirit inspired both students and colleagues alike.
Alexa had a deep love for creativity, blending movement and artistry in everything she did. When Alexa wasn’t making fun jabs at her loved ones, she enjoyed painting and expressed herself through various forms of art. Music was another passion; she found joy in exploring different genres that often fueled her choreography. Animals held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the companionship they brought into her life.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Erik Salomonsen, her devoted mother, Carol Meinke, her supportive sister, Carlie Meinke. Alexa is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kara Salomonsen and her brother-in-law, Jimme (Stephanie) Salomonsen, as well as her parents-in-law, Steve (Kathy) Salomonsen and Alice Demarais, along with countless supportive aunts, uncles and cousins. Alexa was preceded in death by her father Kevin MeinkeHer vibrant spirit and creativity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
