In loving memory of Thomas Roy Malchow who passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2026, at the age of 89.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years MarJean Malchow, and his parents, Roy and Ruth Malchow.
Tom is survived by his brother, Dave and Beth Malchow; his 4 children, Kim and Mark Guinan, Mark and Laurie Malchow, Craig and Debbra Malchow, and Paul and Anita Malchow. He additionally has 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandsons.
Tom brought a competitive spirit to everything he did with a great work ethic along with honesty, integrity, laughter and compassion.
Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling with MarJean, including many drives to visit family, OR take a 2 hour spin to a favorite Dairy Queen. They also traveled to Africa, Europe and enjoyed many cruises. Tom and MarJean were also very involved in the Church their entire married life.
He loved sports and was an avid participant and fan. Tom was a Neenah Rocket in high school, lettering in football, baseball basketball, track, and tennis.
In college at Oshkosh, he was the quarterback, point guard, and won the Wisconsin State singles tennis championship. Continuing on with his 4 children he coached, watched, and played many sports and was still golfing until a few years ago. It was not uncommon to see him at the boat launch, at a ball game, or playing any card game with friends, family, and especially his grandchildren.

Mark & Laurie & family, our deepest sympathy to you guys on the loss of a dad, father-in-law & grandpa. Love, Laura & Lenny
Dear Malchow Family, I’m so sorry for your loss . Tom was a big influence in my life and it was a privilege to have known him. I remember that we’d play basketball in the driveway , we were 17-18 and Tom was an unrelenting competitor taking Paul and I to task – great memories. I hope you are finding comfort in each other during this difficult time while you also celebrate the life your dad lived. With deepest sympathy, Ben
Played football and we were roommates in college. Always admired Tom for being a friend and a terrific athlete. Sorry we didn’t keep in touch.
My deepest sympathy to the family
