William J. “Bill” Hill, age 73, of New Richmond passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Connie, Jim, Julie, Jennifer, Benjamin, Denise and Susie; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Kay, Annie, Pauline, Eileen, Daniel, Diane, Tommy; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary; brother, Patrick; and son, Joe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at Holy Childhood Catholic Church (1435 Midway Parkway) in St. Paul.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave.) in New Richmond with a brief service beginning at 4 pm.  Meal and fellowship to follow the service.  Interment with military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Lane #4 in Minneapolis, MN.
