Yvonne Ann (Erickson) Reardon, 84, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024, at Our House Senior Living in River Falls, Wisconsin.
Yvonne graduated from New Richmond High School in 1957. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life. On November 3, 1958, she was united in marriage to James Reardon, and they were blessed with five children.
Yvonne worked at New Richmond industries for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed playing and coaching softball for 30 years, coaching Special Olympics for 12 years, volunteering at the local animal shelter and even ended up adopting one of the dogs.
Yvonne was an active and devoted Catholic and a member of the Immaculate Conception church where she served on the funeral ministry as well as being an integral part of the liturgical ministry.
She loved dogs, horses, her family, and camping. Jim and Yvonne enjoyed wintering in Texas where they met and made many friends throughout the years they spent there. The family created many fond memories together throughout the years. One of the most memorable being “circle time” at Our House Senior living over the past 2 1/2 years, where there was always lots of love, laughter, food and even a few tears. Our visits always ended with hugs, I love you, and kisses being blown from the window.
Yvonne will be dearly missed by her husband of 65 years, Jim. Children: Tammy (Blaine) Haefner, Rick (Laura) Reardon, Shellee (Dan) Anderson, Sherrie Gilner, Mike (Steph) Reardon.
Grandchildren: Ben (Nikki) Haefner, Ashley (Shawn) Parisian, Lindsee (Zach) Wolff, Nate (Kayla) Anderson, Austin Anderson, Elle (Nick Smith) Anderson, Andrew Gilner, Riley Gilner, Brooke (Nick Winger) Reardon, Bailey (Carter Kirk) Reardon, and Joe Reardon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Erickson; grandparents, Henry Erickson, Anton and Laura Springer; brothers in law, Keith Reardon and Jerry Campeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 20th at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church in New Richmond. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to Mass at the Church. The family is grateful for the wonderful care and love mom received at Our House Senior Living, as well as the compassion and support from Adoray Home Health and Hospice over the past few months.
