Vivian C. Knops, age 89 of New Richmond, WI died on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond. Vivian was born on November 29, 1936 in Clear Lake, WI. She grew up in Clear Lake, WI. On April 19, 1958, Vivian was married to Edward J. Knops. She received her training to become a Dental Hygienist. She spent many years cleaning teeth before moving into management. Vivian spent the remaining years of her career managing a dental office. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and fishing. She was an accomplished baker and cook and loved to sing in the church choir. Vivian’s family was the most important thing in her life, and she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She maintained a strong faith through all circumstances and was a wonderful example to her family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Viola Marie (Holt) Green; husband, Edward Knops; daughters, Melody Murphy and Cindy Harper; and three brothers. Vivian is survived by her children, Randy (Ann) Knops, Tim (Lori) Knops, Ron (Jovi) Knops; sons-in-law, Rick Salber and Wayne Harper; grandchildren, Jessica Myer, Samantha (Derek) Olson, Karrie (Beau) Molitor, Kevin Knops, Megan (Patrick) Coleman, Rachel (Josh) Dardine; great-grandchildren, Zakery, Haydn, Jadelynn, Jeffrey, Kenneth, Carter, Raylan, and Monica; sister, Mabel “Sis” Nase; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Knops; beloved dog, Bruno; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Celebration of Vivian’s Life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11 am at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church 365 W River Drive New Richmond, WI. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in New Richmond Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

We will miss Viv and her welcome visits to Alaska and all the rest of the wonderful people she and Ed brought with them. FISH-ON VIV!
