Trudy LaMirande

We are heartbroken to announce the death of our mother Mary (Trudy) LaMirande.  She passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024 in New Richmond, Wisconsin at the age of 82.  She was born on June 20, 1942 in Minneapolis to Harry and Rose Higgins and lived her entire life in the New Richmond area.  She married Roger LaMirande on April 12, 1958 and together they had 4 children.

Trudy had a generous spirit and was known for being a kind and compassionate person, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.  She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family meant everything to her.

Trudy is survived by her husband Roger, children Lori Derrick (Kevin), Linda Gust (Steve), Joel LaMirande (Jenise), and Jon LaMirande (Doreen), twelve Grandchildren, nineteen Great-Grandchildren, brother Tom (Katy) Higgins and sister Lisa (Anthony) Marks and sister-in laws Elaine Anderson and Angie LaMirande.  Predeceased by parents, brother Pat Higgins, brothers-in-law Joe LaMirande Jr., Wilbur Ostendorf, and Curt Anderson and sisters-in-law Ione Belisle, Gloria Ostendorf, and Sally LaMirande.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 (10 am visitation, 11 am service) at Immaculate Conception Church, 151 S. Washington Ave., New Richmond, Wisconsin followed by a luncheon at Church and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, 263 State Road 35, East Farmington, Wisconsin.
