Tim J. Krohn was born in MN on March 17, 1960, to Milan and Delores Krohn. He moved to Somerset whereas a child, Tim had a unique love of statistics: keeping scores, wins, losses, balls & strikes, shots on goal and goals etc. You name it, he kept score and did so all his life. Setbacks that would greatly affect others, never bothered Tim. He was hit by a car getting off the bus at an early age, losing a leg in an auto accident in his early 30’s. He worked at Northern Metals-now known as Polaris. Tim loved sporting events of all kinds, attending concerts, and movies and Minnesota Wild/Cedar Lake Speedway. He was a Wild season ticket holder and reserved a spectator box at the Speedway for many years. He’ll be missed by his biological family as well as his extended family at Cedar Lake Speedway and Xcel Energy Center.
Tim is survived by his siblings, Michael (Liz), Gregg (Carla), Chris (Lisa), Patty (Tim) Delaney; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milan and Delores; brothers, Steven, Dwayne, and Tom; sister, Pam Salisbury.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, January 18, 2024 at 12 noon at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave New Richmond WI 54017) with a visitation starting one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be in Hillside cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Happy trails old friend. I have not seen you since High School but have great memories of our school years.
We just found out about Timmy’s passing. All of us Wild Season Ticket Holders were worried when he missed a few games….
Everyone knew him and talked to him during every game. We will uphold in his honor yelling after every penalty “to the box cheater”!
Godspeed Timmy!
