Thomas Alan Dzieweczynski, age 67, of rural Osceola, WI, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Tom was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Jerry and Adeline (Kulus) Dzieweczynski and raised in New Brighton, MN. At the young age of 13, he began working at a local grocery store. After graduating with the Class of 1975 from Irondale High School, Tom pursued training in meat cutting, a trade that blossomed into a lifelong profession and hobby. Over 42 years, he became known for his smoked bacon, turkey and any kind of sausage you can imagine. He took first place in a regional smokehouse competition and later earned third place at the national level in Nevada.
On May 21, 1988, Tom married the love of his life, Sheryl Caves, at St. Michael’s Church in Stillwater, MN. Together, they made their home in Osceola, WI, and raised a loving family.
Tom was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, and he passed his appreciation for nature on to his sons. He was incredibly handy and never found something he wasn’t able to fix. Whether riding his motorcycle with Sheryl, teaching his boys how to downhill ski, or spending time on the lake with the grandkids, Tom embraced life with enthusiasm.
He was known for his quick wit, playful spirit, and generous heart. A true jokester, Tom brought laughter to those around him. He was hardworking, compassionate, and always willing to lend a hand to those he loved. His deep faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior remained a cornerstone of his life.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Adeline Dzieweczynski, and his sister, Sandy Dzieweczynski.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheryl Dzieweczynski; sons, Casey (Alison), Wes (Kristy), and Michael (Athea) Dzieweczynski; grandchildren, Ila, Leo, Lucy, Adeline, Hallie, Banks, Miller, Hunter, and Ensley; siblings, Greg Dzieweczynski, Becky (Gary) Knisley, and Annette Dzieweczynski; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM and again on Sunday, August 10, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Pentecostals of New Richmond, 2024 Hwy 65, New Richmond, WI 54026.
A funeral service will follow on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same location, with a light luncheon to follow.

Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
