Terrill Kopp

Terrill Roger Kopp, age 70, of Hudson, Wis., died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Feb. 15, 2011, at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond, Wis.

He was born on May 11, 1940, in Eau Claire, Wis., to Mathias Sr. and Effie (Corwin) Kopp. He was an avid bowler and loved to fish. He enjoyed listening to music and proudly served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis (Lavern) Melland; and his stepfather, Carl Anderson. Terrill is survived by his family, Teresa (Nate) Peterson, Anthony (Roxanne) Kopp, Trisha Brenna, Robert (Janet) Kopp, Karen (Lowell) Heil, Mathias Jr. (Annie) Kopp, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Trisha Brenna’s home, 1071 Hidden Lane in New Richmond, from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26. He will be buried at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date. Memorials preferred to Westfields Hospital Cancer Center.
