Sharon Emert

Sharon Mary Emert, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024, in Bayport, Minnesota.

Sharon was born in Minneapolis MN, the family later moved to Farmington Minnesota, where Sharon graduated from High School and attended college. Sharon married and started her family, Denise, Carrie, Diane and Rick were all born in Farmington. Sharon’s family later moved to Bayport Minnesota, where Brad was born. Sharon would make Bayport her permanent home, where she raised her family, remarried, and retired and later moved to Croixdale Retirement Center where she enjoyed her many activities and wonderful friends.

Her laughter will be one of the things missed the most by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Denise (John) Westin of Cumberland, WI; Carrie Swenson of New Richmond, WI; Diane Swenson (Scott Chapin) of Stillwater, MN; Rick Swenson of St. Paul, MN; and Brad (Kara) Swenson of Stillwater, MN. Grandchildren Jason Swenson, Jeremy Westin (Clarice Baumgartner), Eric (Lauren) Westin, Dillon Willi, Blake Swenson and Margaret Swenson. Great-grandchildren Noah Kimpton, Chance Swenson, Henly Westin, and Bennett Westin. Also survived by brother-in-law, Jerry Bauer. And many other family and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Florence Fitzpatrick; husband, Donald Emert; sister, Nancy Bauer and first husband, Richard Swenson.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM on Saturday April 20, 2024, at Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held for 2 hours prior to service at the Funeral Home.
