Rolf Erickson

Rolf Luther Burr Erickson age 49 was born in Stillwater on Jan. 24, 1963 to John G. and Elizabeth (Barnes) Erickson. He was a pupil at Oak Park Elementary, Stillwater Junior High, and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1981. He attended the University of Wyoming and the University of Minnesota, then spent six years in Hawaii learning the construction and carpentry trade. He settled in downtown Stillwater, self-employed, doing renovation and carpentry projects. He was warm-hearted and much beloved by those he tried to help. He is survived by his parents; his brother Peter; his sister Julia and her husband Tim Schmolke; his sister Torre and her husband Tim Valley; eleven nieces and nephews; and three grandnieces. There will be a memorial service for Rolf on Sunday, Oct. 21 at Ascension Episcopal Church, 214 N. 3rd St., Stillwater, at 2:00 P.M. Private burial at Fairview Cemetery.
