Roland “Tony” Mondloch, age 89, of New Richmond died peacefully of January 1, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born May 14, 1926 to Mathew and Lenora (Weisner) Mondloch in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Tony owned and operated Mondloch Transfer. Besides running his business he was an original member of the New Richmond volunteer ambulance service. He was also an active member of the Immaculate Conception Parish and American Legion Butler-Harmon Post 80. Tony was preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings, Robert, Marcelene and Raymond. Tony is survived by his beloved wife Arlene (Bauer) Mondloch and children Steve (Pat) Mondloch, Kris (Jon) Hanson, Marilyn (Dennis) Sturdevant, Nancy (Kevin) Murphy, Mike (Ann) Mondloch, Lisa (Dave) Olson, and Teresa (Eric) Lakin; grandchildren Kim (Scott) Konkle, Jesse (Tara) Mondloch, Mark Sturdevant, Daniel Murphy, Andrew Murphy, Kai Mondloch, Bradley Mondloch, Emily (Justin) Spahn, Jake (Ryan Reid) Olson; great grandchildren Weston and Cambria Konkle, Abigail Mondloch, and Mirielle, Henry and Oliver Spahn. Tony is also survived by brothers, Dalbert, Leon, Allen and James Mondloch; and sister, Delores Martens. A very special thank you to the Deerfield and St. Croix Hospice staff. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday January 5, 2016 at the Deerfield Chapel Auditorium in New Richmond. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the funeral at The Deerfield.
