Robert Wells

Robert Wells, 76, of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota on Thursday, March 14, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 16, 1942 to Robert and Louise Wells in Chicago, Illinois.  Bob was a farmer for over 20 years before going on to own and manage The Field House restaurant and bowling alley in Clear Lake, Wisconsin, followed by Suzanna’s Restaurant & Fast Freddie’s Bar in New Richmond Wisconsin and most recently, The Settlement Restaurant & Bar in Somerset, WI before retiring.  Bob enjoyed boating and spending time in Fort Myers Beach Florida and time at his cabin on Cedar Lake. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

Bob is survived by his sons, Daniel (Linda) Wells, Terry (Melinda) Wells; grandchildren, Derek Wells and Michelle (Robert) Gharrity; great grandchildren, Holly and Emmy; his brother, Tom (Sandy) Wells; his life partner, Jan Potting and her daughter, Jessi (Lee) Mishler and Jan’s grandchildren, Parker and Brooklyn as well as many other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond. Visitation will be held for one and a half hours prior to Mass at the church.
