Robert Hoyt Miller, age 90, formerly of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on October 24, 2016 at Comforts of Home in River Falls, WI while his loving family was at his side. He was born June 17, 1926 to William C. and Mary Selena (Plumadore) Miller. Bob served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and shortly after returning from service, married his wife of 69 years Adelle Campeau. They were blessed with 14 children, Janet (Richard) Parnell, Marie (Adrian) Amundsen, Robert (Bobby) Miller (deceased), Diane Miller (deceased), Liz (Scott) Racine, Mike (Nancy) Miller, John (Rhonda) Miller, Jeannie (Mike) Utecht, Carol (Leonard) Berg, Mark (Kari) Miller, Ron Miller(deceased), Barb (Mark) Putz, Bill Miller, Brian (Mary) Miller along with 28 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Bob loved to hunt and fish, he was a mechanic at Doboy/Domain for over 30 years as well as running a taxi service in New Richmond. He was the jack of all trades, and the master of none. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday October 29, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.
