“A life well-lived is a life never forgotten” Bob was a wonderful neighbor for four decades, we were fortunate to have known him.
Once, he generously offered this city girl a load of “fertilizer.” I pictured Miracle-Gro. Instead, he drove over on his tractor and dumped manure in our yard. The smell hit, I screamed, and he calmly said, “What did you think I was bringing?” That was Bob.
Another morning, his cows escaped and ended up in our yard — drinking from the girls’ Mr. Turtle pool and licking the patio door like they wanted breakfast.
Both avid readers, he got me hooked on the Louis L’Amour series.
Just this week , with the biggest smile, he told me our grandkids could ride snowmobiles on his land and carefully described the trails for them. They’re thrilled.
Bob will be greatly missed. Thinking of the whole family during this time. All our luv, Tami & Jack OConnell
We always enjoyed time spent with Uncle Bob. So many fun memories over the years from childhood on. His teasing Patsy was always expected. And Aunt Patsy you took it so well. We will miss him when we have family get togethers. We always enjoyed meeting in Menomonie for lunch with family or just you and Bob Patsy. Our love and hugs. We will see you on Friday evening.
I am so sorry for your loss…Rest in Peace Bob
