Peter Erickson

Peter Conrad Olds Erickson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 17, 1955, to John Gerhard & Elizabeth (Barnes) Erickson. He grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota graduating from Stillwater High School in 1973. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Architecture in 1978 and worked for a number of architectural firms in the Twin Cities. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects, Preservation Society of Minnesota, Minnesota Historical Society, and for many years was a member of the Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his father, John Erickson; brother, Rolf; brother-in-law, Dick Staub and nephew, Matthew Schmolke; He is survived by his mother, Betty; sisters, Julie Schmolke (Tim) and Torre Valley (Tim); eleven nieces and nephews, and 3 great nieces. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 PM at the EPISCOPAL CHURCH of the ASCENSION, 214 N. 3rd St. Stillwater, MN, with reception following. Private burial at Lakewood Cemetery in Mpls.
