Patricia Mayer

Patricia Mayer, age 89 of New Richmond, passed away on July 15, 2020 under the care of the wonderful staff at Pine Ridge Gardens and hospice nurses. Pat was born December 14, 1930 in the Township of Thorp, to Mike and Mary (Szalaj) Wojcik. Pat grew up in the Township of Thorp and Medford before making New Richmond her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Mayer; her parents; and siblings, Joseph (Kaye) Wojcik, Vincent (Rosemary) Wojcik, and Cele (Louis) Twarowski.

Survived by her children, Dale Mayer, Marsha Alexander, Robert Mayer, and Pamela (Dominic) Rutledge. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Patricia’s priorities were: family, friends, faith, and community. Both Pat and her husband Don were very involved in all four of these throughout their lives.

Funeral services for Patricia will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond. Visitation for one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment will be immediately following the Mass in the church cemetery. Due to current pandemic of Covid-19, the family asks that anyone attending wear a mask/face covering and respect social distancing when possible. Any monetary donations received will be donated.
