Patricia Karpenski passed away on May 26, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in Kansas City, Missouri. Patricia was born on January 1, 1941 in Philips, Wisconsin to Earl and Helen (Belon) Alden. She enjoyed her work as a minister, studying the Bible, gardening, cooking and was a wonderful, devoted, loving wife and mother. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 50 years, William Edward Karpenski; son, Richard Lee Karpenski; sister, Joyce Heller; and brother, Robert Alden. She is survived by her brothers, Richard Alden, Earl Alden, William Alden, Daniel Alden; sister, Janet Shay; daughters, Sue Kay Jackson and Nancy Lynn (Leonel) Figueroa; son, Dale Alan (Wendy) Karpenski; grandchildren, Allen Joseph (Gina) Bentley, Michael William (Rocio) Bentley, Amber Lynn (Johan) Bentley Gomez, Rita Renee (Taylor) Gallagher, Joel William Jackson, Robert Lee Jackson, Brian Lee Figueroa, Alexander Gabriel Figueroa, Christian Lee Karpenski, Chandler Blake Karpenski, Madison Brooke Karpenski; great grandchildren, Arianna Maria Bentley, Allen William Bentley, Zayne Michael Karpenski, Johan Sebastian Gomez Bentley, Sophia Lorraine Bentley, and Quinn Lee Gallagher. A funeral service for Patricia will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday June 3, 2015 at the FORT SNELLING MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 10:30 AM prior to service at the CHAPEL. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
